BO..... BUZZ OFF...
This little Robin Redbreast is unaware that a successful armpit bacterial transplant has been carried out by Chris Callewaert from the University of California, San Diego.
The transplant was carried out on a pair of identical twins, one of who had B.O. and the other smelt sweet.
Armpit bacteria were transferred from the sweet to the smelly over a period of 4 days using swabs.
The result was roses all round and the effects have now persisted for up to a year.
Callewart presented the results of his work at the Karolinska Dermatology Symposiumin Stockholm, Sweden , last month.
Researchers are now looking at using similar techniques in eczema and psoriasis.
